VAVA 1080P Dash Cam

I bought this dash cam over 4yrs ago. I love it! It has never let me down. I feel naked if I notice I don't have it plugged into the truck lighter. The windshield suction cup use to fall off none stop. I told my son and he rubbed the sticky part really good and we attached it to the windshield and it hasn't fell off since. I rented a car to drive to a destination wedding on Vancouver Island BC and took my dash cam with me as I've done on several occasions but thos time the plug adapter is loose now when I plug it into my truck lighter. I'm trying to find where I can order a replacement but find it difficult to see parts replacement. I will have to call VAVA but thought online would be faster. Otherwise Excellent Excellent fash cam. PS. I wasn't driving g fast enough for a fellow driver behind me, so he passed me giving me the finger, the light ahead turned Red and I pulled up beside him and turned my dashcam towards him. He just put his head down, in shame I was thinking. Enjoy!

Excellent dash cam.

I only write the things I don't like, so that future production will improve. The recording led is too small, difficult to see. The camera stores two twin files, one of which is of poor quality (useless for me) and cannot be avoided, there is no option menu.

I purchased this dash cam in 2019. The video quality is great, no issues with the camera itself. The adhesive for the mount started to degrade after 2 years of the vehicle being parked outside in the Florida sun. I contacted the customer support and they got me a replacement mount under a week. Definitely would recommend this product and purchase another one for my other vehicles.

I’ve had this camera for 2 1/2 years.

The app is wonderful works great.

The mount is so/so
The windshield part is a suction cup that has fallen off maybe once to twice a year.

The mount to camera part is a magnetic connection.
This means it is very easy to move if bumped.

And I can also see it easily falling out of you during an accident.

This I believe is probably the worst part of the camera which is the mounting and both the windshield and the camera.

The camera itself is very good night vision and day vision are perfect for the 1080 that is expected.

The only problem I’ve had is The camera rebooting at strange times while driving.
I believe most of this was related to an SD card but I still see it happening from time to time.

But overall this is still a great camera.
